Recreating Daub for a Historic Homestead- Part II

Make sure to watch Part I first! Rob Wozniak is here at the Preservation Works shop conducting the final experiments for daub recreation. He’s not trying to make any old daub though. Using the land’s clay-rich soil that immediately  surrounds the Christoffel Vought Farmstead, he is attempting to recreate the very daub that was used to create the wattle-and-daub walls and ceilings of this historic home built back in 1759.
