The Lafayette Inn is the best place to stay while spending a night in Easton.  We repointed all of the chimneys and installed chase covers that will keep the chimney dry and drastically reduce deterioration on the exterior.  Additionally, we spot repointed areas where water had eroded the lime mortar.  Spot repointing is a process of repointing just a small area.  It can be done when the wall is generally in good condition but where a localized issue has caused damage.
