Carriage House Lime Mortar Repointing
This project involved rebuilding two sections of wall with used brick and the removal of a lot of Portland cement, then repointing with traditional lime mortar. We also used stainless steel ties to stabilize a settlement crack in the mortar. The north side of the building was original lime mortar and was a much easier repair.
